Wayne's Woodshop
Wayne has been working in his shop today and made a beautiful Gavel and Block!
There was no specific reason for making a gavel, he just thought he'd like to try making one. I think it is beautiful! I am always amazed at his first attempts. It is made from Black Walnut.

Wayne's Woodwork
Wayne has been busy this week in his workshop! He is trying new things on his lathe all the time! Last week he was given a large cedar board that he cut and laminated. He then turned them and this is the result....
These are raw wood. He hasn't decided what kind of sealer he wants on these pieces. I love the wood grain and color! We would love to be able to retain the purple coloring of the cedar. Any suggestions are welcome!
