I first saw a photo of him on Pixabay, a copyright free photo site and I knew I wanted to try sketching him. I'm pretty pleased since I didn't spend a lot of time and didn't have the brown colored pencil that I really needed.
I guess this is why my studio is never clean. 😊

Do you realize how magnificent this gift is?! You have been so blessed with great talent. To be able to sketch like this, is so amazing - especially since some of us cannot even draw a stick figure. And, for those that can draw - I think that not everyone can capture the "emotion" of the object. You did!
Thank you, Reta! My talent for drawing really is a gift, because I am not aware of pain when I am involved in a drawing. It has been the best medicine for me! I feel like I am honoring our Dads at the same time...both earthly and heavenly. Your encouragement is a huge gift to me!
