Studio Time

It's too cold to want to be outside, so I decided it was a good time to sort through everything in (and on) my taboret.  Once I pulled everything out of the drawers and bottom cabinet, there was no going back.

BEFORE :

I found some things I forgot I had. I always do.   😊

It didn't take long to sort,  throw away and find a place for everything.

AFTER :

It feels so good!  Now, if only the rest of my studio looked that good!

Looks great! I do similar organizing jobs on my desk which last about 5 minutes - ha! I love your wall - and the new certificate. I've never seen the "Edging Metals" piece - wow!

Thank you! You noticed the new certificate! Yes, isn't the "Edging Metals" piece cool? Dad said it took him awhile to work that out. I'd like to do something with his airbrush too. Maybe a shadow frame?

Jessica, you are Too Funny!! You have no idea....the other 3/4 of my studio looks like a tornado hit it! The problem is, I never grow up. I get to sorting through my stuff and find cool stuff I forgot I had. Then all I want to do is play and cleaning hits a back burner. OR, I forgot why I bought something so, before I toss it or give it away, I have to research the item and find out how it is used and why I bought it. So, the fact that I started this project and finished in one afternoon is a miracle!! And no, I did not just move everything out of camera range to take the pictures. Hahaha

A good 'sort' is a lovely thing. Seems our minds have been thinking alike of late, as I've cleared a massive (ready-to-topple) mess on one of the bookshelves in my studio. Ahhh...now we can breathe and create anew! :-)
