I've never seen ones like these! SO COOL!
I never have either! I wasn't crazy about them when I first saw them. But after spending some time sketching them, they are growing on me!
Dear friend,
I confess I've not looked closely at each of these boot posts but...with each picture of a boot I've been reminded of two things. The first is of my years in Calgary, host to The Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth -- the Calgary Stampede -- and my sister, who is soon to retire from her post as Marketing Director of the Ranchman's Cookhouse and Dance Hall ("If it ain't Ranchman's, it ain't Stampede"). The second...a section from one of the Craft in America episodes featuring Lisa Sorrell, a maker of exquisite cowboy boots. I invite you to take a look...with the thought that you might collaborate on some sort of exhibit (or not)...Enjoy!

Thank you, Margaret! I will watch her video.
