I am starting a new project and hope to show it at the Grand Prairie Art Show later this year. Because of that, I won't be able to show the drawing in its entirety before then, but I will try to show sneak peaks as I go. It is my first charcoal drawing! I love the matte finish of charcoal. Graphite leaves such shine and its difficult to get rich blacks. I am also starting in the upper left hand corner so there will be less chance of smearing the drawing with my hand as I go. I like the way it blends! It is messy though!!
